Molls and Farmers setting cricket standards

The cricket action picked up steam this past week with four games taking place in the T20 Night League and one in the 30-over League.
On Tuesday Legends beat Farmers while on Wednesday Legends recorded their second victory, beating MYM.
The other Tuesday night game saw Molls take on Asia. Batting first Asia could only manage 125/9. Cameron Fogg took 2/17 for Molls. In reply Molls easily reached the total, scoring 127/4 in 14 overs.
They won by six wickets with six overs to spare. Wilfred Bierbaum starred with the bat scoring 43. He was well-supported by Joff Davies who scored 28 not out.
The fourth T20 game, which took place on Friday, saw Sunshine/Deans battle Farmers in a thrilling encounter.
Batting first Sunshine/Deans made 130 all out. Logan scored 30 and Vishal made 21. Aarie took 3/12 and Braam 2/18 as the bowlers really tightened the screws.
In reply Farmers tied the game on the very last ball of the innings. Micheal made 34 and Nicholas 33. O'niel took 1/22 and Shawn 2/32 for Sunshine/Deans.
In Saturday’s 30-over game, Farmers took on Molls in a game which featured six LBW decisions.
Farmers could only muster 119 all out. Woesie Bruyns made 20 and Pieter Johnson chipped in with 19. Francois took 3/19 and Wilfred took 3/34 as Molls reduced them to a very competitive score.
Sadly they could not reach it.
Brilliant bowling from Kyle who took 3/8 and Braam with 4/10 reduced Molls to 82 all out. Both teams were complimented for playing the game in very good and fair spirit. The six LBW decisions were a clear indication that both teams put fair play first. It has set the standards for future games in the competition.
