Charlie’s Super Spar is continuing to play ball with the community.
Shortly before Christmas the local supermarket donated over 100 soccer balls to the disadvantaged in the community at a get-together at Endumeni Lower Primary.
Jane Adalis of Charlie's Super Spar said the business hopes to continue to play an active and meaningful role in socio-economic development with a special focus on health, hunger, crime prevention and, more specifically, AIDS-related projects.
Groceries were also given to the Sithole family of France after Mayor Mahaye brought their plight to the attention of Charlie's Super Spar.
The Mayor also thanked Dave Coleman of Spar for organising the donations and for their continued efforts to improve the life of all in the greater Endumeni area.
