The renovations to Pro Nobis are moving along at a steady pace and principal, Dolf Myburg and staff, are impressed with the progress so far.
Mr Myburg could not pick one thing that he was most excited about because there was 'so much to look forward to.'
The renovation process has been difficult for the school who were forced to stop a lot of activities as a result. With the project ending in October this year, the school is looking forward to a bigger and brighter future. The swimming pool is to undergo renovations, a new kitchen built as well as accommodation for staff members who have an early start and offices for educators as well. An elevator will also be put in, making the trips to the different floors that much easier. Mr Schulze, one of the educators, was also proud to announce that the buildings would be 'green buildings' and there would be a solar hot water system, highlighting the schools commitment to protecting the environment. Mr Myburg also reminded members of the public that the school was not getting bigger but that they were merely improving on the current infrastructure. It’s a special time for Pro Nobis School.
